WELCOME BACK, JOHN

We’ve added a new face here at Charles Mill Marina! We are happy to announce that John Yaussy will be joining our staff this spring.

John brings over 30 years of experience in the boating industry. He began in the early 1980’s at Clearfork Marina near Lexington, Ohio, working in boat sales, service, parts and operations.  In 1997, John was hired as the general manager of Apple Valley Marina near Howard, Ohio, where he was in charge of all marina operations.

John will be joining our team as a marina manager, helping oversee day-to-day operations, working in the parts department and coordinating service work. We look forward to our customers at Charles Mill Marina and Pleasant Hill Marina benefitting from his expertise.

John and his wife, Dana, are the parents of two children, Erin (17) and Jonah (14). They keep active traveling around to Erin’s volleyball games and Jonah’s basketball games, which John also officiates.

Charles Mill Marina used to be John's home. Not only did he work here, John lived in the apartment that used to be half of the main building.
