And just like that, it was gone. What happened to the 80 degree days? What happened to the sun? And where did the leaves go? It's beginning to look an awful lot like the beginnings of winter outside, but we still have a little unfinished business here on Charles Mill Lake.

Just a reminder to any houseboaters that your boats will be pulled next Thursday and Friday, October 27 and 28. We will have coffee and donuts so make sure to stop inside and pick some up to stay warm.

For any other boaters please start making arrangements to have your boat off the water. The lake drawdown period begins December 1 this year, which means boats should be off at least a week ahead of that. Just give us a call if you would like us to pull it off and store it. It's only $240 and that includes your put-in next spring as well.
