TIPS FOR FALL SERVICE
September 29, 2011
As the calendar flips from September into October we find ourselves getting more and more inquiries on our fall services. Here are just a few reminders as we get into the final month of the boating season.
- All boats must be out of the water no later than November 20. The lake is drawn down to winter pool starting in December, so it is important to make plans to have your boat pulled before this date.
- We can do pull-outs on Saturdays in October, but these do fill up quickly. You do not have to be present for your boat to be pulled out but we do need the motor to run and the battery to be charged.
- Houseboats are scheduled to be pulled out on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28.
- We recommend that you take your battery and gas tank off of your boat for winter storage. This helps keep the battery fresh for spring and protects against theft.
If you have any other questions about fall service please call Charles Mill Marina at 1-800-837-2628 and we will be happy to help.
