We collected over 2000 cans and non-perishable goods for the Lucas Food Pantry! (Don't worry, the boy wasn't donated)

You did it! Thanks to the great turnout on Boating for Hunger Night and the extraordinary generosity of everyone who came out, we filled an entire pontoon boat with food, and then some!

The Charles Mill Marina staff would like to thank everyone who came out last night to support a great cause. We have estimated that over 2000 individual canned goods and non-perishable items were donated last night.

All donations will be delivered to the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Food Pantry, which serves Lucas and surrounding areas.

Thanks again to all of our great dockers, campers, home owners and the entire Charles Mill Lake community. We would like to extend a special thank you to Dave Calland for hosting the evening’s event and also our great sponsors which helped provide us with great raffle prizes.
